The Hack
A digital moisture dispenser provides a continuous vapor to boost atmospheric moisture around your plants. You simply fill the tank with water and let it run for a couple of hours a day, so moisture readings resemble the humid climates rather than a dry indoor environment.
The Mechanism
Unlike water-filled dishes or spraying, moisture devices offer reliable, quantifiable results. Foliage lose less water through their foliage, meaning reduced strain and more energy for growth. Theoretically, it should prevent the notorious crispy-edge syndrome completely.
The Experiment
I tried a compact model beside my prayer plants. Following a fortnight, the change was visible: absence of fresh dry edges, glossier leaves and new shoots. Downsides?
